Cut to scenes of cities rebuilding, with monuments and structures being reconstructed after the devastating alien invasion years ago. But there’s an unsettling calm, as military forces around the world seem on edge.
Voiceover (President Whitmore): “We prepared for years. We thought we could stop them… but they were always one step ahead.”
Suddenly, we see the sky split open, revealing an even larger alien fleet, dwarfing the invasion force from before. Panic erupts as the world scrambles to respond.
Cut to Colonel Steven Hiller (Will Smith), now a veteran leader in Earth’s defense, looking out over a military command center. The camera zooms in on his face as he clenches his jaw.
Colonel Hiller (Will Smith): “They’re back. And they’re not here to negotiate.”
Quick cuts: fighter jets scramble into action, new advanced weapons fire into the sky, and epic dogfights rage in the clouds above Earth’s cities. The action escalates as humanity’s defenses are pushed to their limits.
Voiceover (new character): “They brought something with them this time… something far worse.”
Cut to a scene deep underground: scientists are studying a massive alien artifact. Suddenly, it hums to life, and alarms blare as something begins to emerge from the depths of space.
Colonel Hiller (Will Smith): “This time, we’re taking the fight to them.”
Explosive action sequences flash across the screen—Hiller leading ground assaults, enormous alien crafts crashing into oceans, and massive space battles erupting as Earth’s forces launch a counterattack into the heart of the alien fleet.
Text on screen: “A new war. A new enemy. A new beginning.”
In the final moment, Hiller faces off against a towering alien commander. They lock eyes before the screen cuts to black, leaving only the sound of his voice.
Colonel Hiller (Will Smith): “Let’s finish this.”
